Crafted from premium Vachetta Natural Calfskin, each piece is carefully hand-marbled using the traditional Turkish Ebru and Japanese Suminagashi marbling techniques from the 12th century.
- Ebru marbling was used way back during the Ottoman Empire. It is mainly characterized by using many colors and has a controlled pattern-making process.
- Japanese marbling method called Suminagashi, which in contrast to Ebru, has more minimalistic colors (Black, Red and White) and a flowy style.
No two pen slips are ever the same. Each pattern is individually formed, making every piece truly unique.
Designed to fit regular-sized fountain pens, including Montblanc 146 and 149, this slip protects your writing instrument while elevating it.
